Italmatic zinc and steel balancing weights are coated to assure a resistance to corrosion adequate to the requirements of the spare part and OEM market.
Available coating options are as follows:
- Innovative coating OEM Zintek : an innovative coating OEM approved assuring over 500 hours of resistance to corrosion. It is an innovative coating that, differently from the most traditional plastic coating, offers a higher grip on the rim (absence of “soap” effect) and a better aesthetic especially on alloy rims (similar colour).
- Traditional coating in epoxy powder (plastic coating) : it is the coating hystorically adopted by OEM, however overtaken by the new coating OEM Zintek
- White high resistance zinc coating: it is the typical coating for steel balancing weights.
For the spare part market uncoated zinc balancing weights are also available.
